2021 Honda Accord
Impeccable Driving Dynamics in an Effortlessly Modern Sedan
Drivers who need a bit more space in their sedan — without compromising performance and aesthetics — deserve to have their needs met.
And Honda Motor Company continues to deliver on every level with its Accord mid-size sedan.
Consumers can choose from a hybrid option or two turbocharged four-cylinder powertrains — each option has been designed to create an enthralling driving experience and handle the road ahead with ease.
Ample trunk space makes packing for an adventure on the open road as simple as packing groceries after a trip to the store.
The backseat offers enough space for two adults, ensuring no one is left feeling crowded. Or if you need to accommodate for a growing family, the backseat has enough space for two car seats.
What’s New for the 2021 Model Year
The 2021 Accord and Accord Hybrid model options have both received a minor refresh in its styling.
Drivers will find an updated grille design, new optional LED headlamps, updated alloy wheels, and a new exterior color option — Sonic Gray Pearl.
Inside, you will find an 8-inch infotainment display — which was once an option before but is now standard for 2021.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is now possible, and a wireless connection is available on the EX-L ad Touring trim levels.
Consumers will also find a new trim level added to the list of options: the Sport SE.
2021 Honda Accord Sport SE
The 2021 Accord has a new trim level for drivers to consider — the Sport SE which has replaced the EX trim level.
The new trim level option includes leather seats, the front seats are also heated, which is perfect for the colder months that drivers face in the Capital Region.
Drivers who choose the new Sport SE trim level will also enjoy a 12-way power driver’s seat and remote keyless entry — which hasn’t been offered on the Sport trim.
Accord Engine Options & Performance
The Accord offers two turbocharged options for drivers to pick between, including a 1.5-liter four-cylinder I-4 engine that is capable of producing 192 horsepower and 192 pounds-per-feet of torque.
For those who desire a bit more muscle, the Accord offers a 252 horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Honda has dropped the manual transmission option for the 2021 model year, but with these powertrains available, it will be hard to imagine ever wanting something else.
And drivers searching for a hybrid option will want to test drive the Accord Hybrid, equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine capable of producing 143 horsepower and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
No matter which option is chosen, the full-size Honda sedan creates a spirited drive, hugs every turn with complete ease, and feels like a sports car but looks like a family car.
